Abel Nyongesa (suing on behalf of the estate of Eunice Anyango)

The case challenges the state of emergency obstetric care in Kakamega County. The 1st petitioner’s late wife arrived at the 1st Respondent’s facility at a critical condition however she experienced delayed treatment and was not referred to Matunguu Level 4 Hospital due to an ongoing ambulance strike within the Kakamega County. The 1st Petitioner has also been denied the medical records of the Late Eunice Anyango.
